Level 1- Lo Básico
Throughout this unit students will learn basic classroom procedures and will practice commands in Spanish. AS we begin to cover classroom supplies in Spanish, students will be introduced to the structure: "Yo necesito..." meaning "I need..."
Mastery of this structure will require practice at home! Here is a quick pronunciation guide:
Yo necesito ________. (Yo neh-seh-see-toe __________).
The question we use to prompt this response is
"Que necesitas?" (K neh-seh-see-tahs?), meaning "What do you need?"
Feel free to try it out at home!

Unidad 2
Numeros, Colores, Formas
This unit is very vocabulary intense. Students will be learning colors, shapes, & numbers 0-10. It is very important for students to practice outside of the classroom - especially when it comes to their shapes and numbers! Our goal is to have students not just be able to count 0-10 in Spanish, but to recognize numbers independent of their order & use them in math problems!! In order for us to be successful, it is SO important that students practice at home!!
