Level 2
Level Two continues to develop students' basic Spanish language and pushes them a little further with new grammatical structures and vocabulary themes. Spanish B continues over two years (2nd and 3rd grade) and covers the following topics: age, weather and seasons, clothes, body parts, and hobbies/activities. At the beginning of the year we will also be reviewing most content from Level One - colors, shapes, and numbers.

Los Materiales
|
As we begin to cover classroom supplies in Spanish, students will be reviewing a structure from Level One ("Yo necesito..." meaning "I need...") and learning a new structure: "Yo tengo..." or "I have..."
Mastery of this structure will require practice at home! Here is a quick pronunciation guide: Yo necesito ________. (Yo neh-seh-see-toe __________). The question we use to prompt this response is "Que necesitas?" (K neh-seh-see-tahs?), meaning "What do you need?" Yo tengo ___________. (Yo ten-go ______). The question we use to prompt this is "Que tienes?" (Kay tee-ehn-es?"), meaning "What do you have?" |
